As part of the larger project to establish and launch the Palestinian Electricity Regulatory Commission, I was engaged as the primary consultant to perform the tariff related tasks of the technical assistance, which included:

  • Development of guidelines and procedures for submission of revenue requirements and amendment of tariffs by Palestinian electric utilities.
  • Specifications for the development of the formats and guidelines for filing of tariffs, reporting of revenue requirements and amendment of tariffs by the Palestinian distribution company licensees.
  • Presentation of my recommendations to the PEA and electric utilties to be placed under the jurisdiction of the Palestine Electricity Regulatory Commission
